Texas Southmost College offers Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), and Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degrees, as well as Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees, Level One Certificates, and Level Two Certificates. AA, AS, and AAT degrees are designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year or upper level college or university. These degrees include general education courses such as English, Mathematics, History, and Government, which are part of the 42-hour Core Curriculum requirement for most baccalaureate degree programs in Texas.
