At TSC, students always have access to a knowledgeable tutor. All Texas Southmost College tutors are certified through the College Reading and Learning Association training program and are available in person on a walk-in basis. Brainfuse Overview
TSC students have full access to the college’s online scheduling and tutoring platform, Brainfuse. Tutoring sessions with Brainfuse tutors may be scheduled or accessed on demand. They provide online tutoring for all TSC students in various subjects, including composition, college algebra, and anatomy & physiology, to name a few. Students may use the whiteboard feature to collaborate with online tutors, submit essays and questions for review, form online study groups with peers and instructors, and record live tutoring sessions to watch later.
To access Brainfuse, students may go to their Canvas course and select the Brainfuse link at the bottom of the left-hand menu. The Brainfuse app may also be downloaded from an app store to access their services.
