Statement of Purpose and Focus
The mission of the Texas Southmost College (TSC) Foundation is to transform students’ lives by providing equal opportunities for students to access a quality and affordable college education. The Foundation supports the college and its students in the attainment of their educational goals by providing support for student scholarships, academic instruction, and instructional support for students. A local, volunteer board of directors governs the Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Our Work
The TSC Foundation collaborates with emerging industries and the business community and engages with donors and alumni in support of TSC’s programs and activities, mission, and strategic plan. Today’s workforce is highly competitive and requires college graduates trained to enter a high-tech workforce and global economy. It is important that TSC’s students participate in cutting-edge programs in top-notch facilities, therefore the TSC Foundation collaborates with TSC to meet the needs of the students, families, and employers TSC serves. The TSC Foundation seeks partners among businesses, foundations, and individuals who understand the transformational value of a Texas Southmost College education and are willing to invest in that work.
