Statement of Purpose:
The Office of Safety and Risk Management is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for all who work and learn at Texas Southmost College. To accomplish its mission the Office of Safety and Risk Management provides a wide array of safety, risk management and environmental health services to the college community.
The safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors is of vital concern to Texas Southmost College. Everyone within the campus community is involved in creating a safe and secure environment, and is encouraged to report all safety concerns by calling Campus Security.
Texas Southmost College contracts with off-duty Brownsville Police Officers and a security agency. Off-duty Brownsville Police Officers are stationed on-campus and work in tandem with security guards to ensure a safe and secure campus.
