Plumbing Technician
Course Description
The Workforce Training Plumbing program prepares students to apply calculations related to the plumbing trade, utilize proper hand and power tool usage, and learn standard industry safety practices as well as state plumbing codes. Students learn how to cut, measure, join, and support various types of piping, pipe valves, and pipe-hanging systems.
This program has been designed to deliver the skills you need in a short period so you can enter this in-demand occupation quickly.
Upon completion of the program, students will have the opportunity to receive:
- TSC Certificate of Completion
- Occupational Skills Award. OSAs emphasize practical, hands-on training aligned with industry standards to ensure relevance and value in the job market.
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification
- Be able to register as an Plumbing Apprentice in the state of Texas
