Course Description

The TSC Private Security Officer Program follows the provisions of the Texas Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies Act. The course covers topics such as the impact of the code on procedures and policies; judicial interpretation of statutes and related procedures; and rules and regulations. This program satisfies the requirements for Commissioned Security Officer Skill Certification under the Department of Public Safety. After successful completion of the course, students will receive a DPS Level III Security Certification.
