Course Description
This Pipefitting course consists of hands-on training and prepares students for entry-level roles in the pipefitting field. Students will learn a multitude of skills required to meet and exceed pipefitting industry standards. These include construction safety, pipefitting math, blueprint interpretation, pipe fabrication, TIG-SMAW welding, quality control, employability skills, supervision skills and more. Spanning 160 hours, this Pipefitting Program is designed to help students enter into this rapidly expanding profession quickly.
Upon completion of the program, students will have the opportunity to receive:
- TSC Certificate of Completion
- Occupational Skills Award. OSAs emphasize practical, hands-on training aligned with industry standards to ensure relevance and value in the job market.
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification
NCCER Pipefitting Level l
Course Description
This Pipefitting course is designed for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the pipefitting trades. The
program will give an overview of work performance by the pipefitter, the responsibilities, career opportunities, safety
principles associated with the pipefitting trade, and the types of pipes/tools pipefitters will encounter. This program will
allow the student to enter the workforce as an entry-level pipefitter. Upon completion of the courses, students will have
the opportunity to earn an Occupational Skill Award, an OSHA 10-hour certification, a NCCER Core Certification, and a
NCCER Pipefitting Level I certification.
