Manufacturing Machine Operator

Course Description

The Manufacturing Machine Operator program prepares students for careers in modern, high-tech manufacturing environments, specializing in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining and additive manufacturing (3D printing). This hands-on curriculum is designed to align with industry standards and combines traditional manufacturing principles with advanced digital technologies.

Students will gain practical experience:

  • Using Computer-Aided Manufacturing software to create part programs
  • Transferring programs to the machine control unit
  • Machining the parts
  • Setting up and operating CNC machining centers
  • Setting machine and tool offsets for machining operations and editing the program as required
Upon completion of the program, student will receive:
  • TSC Certificate of Completion
  • Occupational Skills Award
  • HAAS Certification
