Students
If you are a current registered student, then you are a current Recreation Center member. Current TSC and UTRGV students (Brownsville Campus) are eligible to participate in all Recreation Center programs and services. You must use your TSC or UTRGV ID to gain access to the TSC Recreation Center.
Faculty/Staff
Current TSC and UTRGV Faculty/Staff and their spouse are eligible to purchase a membership for the Recreation Center. You may not purchase a single membership for your spouse. You must use your TSC or UTRGV ID to gain access to the TSC Recreation Center.Alumni
Alumni and their spouses are eligible to purchase a membership for the Recreation Center. Alumni must be able to provide documentation of graduation from TSC, UTB, or UTRGV. Alumni members can purchase a parking permit at the TSC Cashier’s Office. A TSC Recreation Center ID will be issued to you when you purchase a membership. You must use the TSC Recreation Center ID to gain access to the TSC Recreation Center.

Monthly: This plan allows you to pay one month at a time.
Pre-Paid: This plan allows you to pay for as many months that you wish.
Payroll Deduction/Automatic Withdrawal from bank: This plan allows you to sign up for recurring billing until you cancel.

Payroll Deduction
This option is only available for TSC Faculty/Staff and their spouse. It deducts your Recreation Center membership directly from your paycheck. All memberships continue on a monthly basis with a deduction of $25.50 per month per membership. You may not purchase a single membership for your spouse.Payroll Deduction Form

Automatic Withdrawal from Bank
This option is only available for Alumni, UTRGV Faculty/Staff and their spouse. It deducts your Recreation Center membership directly from your bank account. You may not purchase a single membership for your spouse.

Alumni and their spouse: All memberships continue on a monthly basis with a deduction of $29.75 per month per membership.
UTRGV Faculty/Staff and their spouse: All memberships continue on a monthly basis with a deduction of $25.50 per month per membership. Automatic Withdrawal Form

Cancellation

Refunds
There are no refunds on memberships.

UTRGV students who take classes in Brownsville and pay the Student Rec Fee, have access to the facility. For students who are found to be inactive and/or are denied access to the Brownsville TSC Recreation Center, please submit this request form. University Recreation will review all requests to ensure they meet the following criteria:
  • Students must be currently enrolled for the semester being requested.
  • Students must have paid the Student Rec Fee within their tuition and fees.
  • Requests must be made prior to the census day of each semester.
  • Students must submit this request form each semester. Access will only be allowed a semester at a time.
