Everyone has one goal at TSC: helping students achieve success. The Starfish Early Alert system supports this goal by enhancing communication between faculty, students, and support services. Students may use Starfish to view their success network, access services, see instructors’ office hours, and learn about other campus resources.
Faculty and staff may submit Course Progress Report alerts to send automated notifications to students, either congratulating them on their progress (kudos) or initiating a call to action for students to improve their performance (flags). Student Success Coaches will reach out to students after an alert has been created in the system.
