TESTING FOR CRIMINAL JUSTICE INSTITUTE
Step 1. TSC ID Number Required
Students new to the TSC system must visit the Workforce Training and Continuing Education office to be issued a TSC ID number.
Students who previously participated in the UTB/TSC system may continue using their previous ID number.
Step 2. Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA)
The Pre-Assessment Activity is a state requirement for all students new to TSI Assessment testing. The PAA is important to help students understand how the TSI assessment will determine the correct courses to register for at TSC. The PAA also provides information on the college to help students be more successful.
Option 1: Take the Online Pre-Assessment Activity
Option 2: Students with a TSC ID number can come in as walk-ins to complete the PAA in person, which is held in the TSC Testing Lab in the Oliveira Student Services building.
Unless otherwise stated, the PAA is hosted every Friday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Step 3. Payment and Scheduling
1. Students will use Market Place to pay and schedule their tests. After payment is submitted, the student will receive an order confirmation receipt with the test date and time chosen.
2. The TSC Testing team will email the student an invitation for their test session the day before the scheduled exam.
