Certified Nursing Assistant (CERT I)

Statement of Purpose

The Certified Nursing Assistant Program (CNA) provides students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to provide basic care to residents of long-term care facilities.

Program Overview

The CNA Certificate I Program may be completed in one semester. The program prepares students to provide basic nursing care in health care facilities. Students will learn basic nursing skills, medical terminology, and basic anatomy and physiology. Students will participate in both classroom and clinical training.
