Texas Southmost College is continuing to respond to an apparent breach in the network on Monday morning.
TSC Information Technology (IT) department was alerted to a breach of the network and immediately initiated the TSC CyberSecurity Incident Response Plan and shut down the TSC ...network and critical systems.
TSC has notified local and federal law enforcement as well as the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) and is working closely with them to determine the source of the breach as well as any information that may have been compromised.
TSC remains in constant contact with DIR and law enforcement. The TSC IT team is working to restore the network and critical systems as quickly as possible. And we apologize for the disruption of our services.
