Patient Care Technician Program Description

Students will learn the basic nursing principles and advanced nurse aid skills to successfully render service to all types of patients, as well as establish a safe and supportive environment for the patient through ethical and legal responsibilities, effective communication, observation skills, fire safety, infection control, CPR, EKG, and phlebotomy practices.

 

Program Eligibility
  • Applicants must have completed the Certified Nursing Assistant Program to be admitted into Patient Care Technician courses.
Students Will
  • Receive a TSC Certificate of Completion

The starting average PCT salary is between $30,000 – $35,000 in the state of Texas.

No Prerequisites

Only a high school diploma or GED is required to begin our Patient Care Technician course.
