TSC Spring Commencement Celebrates Graduates, Including Dual-Credit Trailblazers

A milestone moment for hundreds of students took place as Texas Southmost College (TSC) held a trio of Spring Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the Jacob Brown Auditorium. A total of 816 graduates walked the stage to receive their diplomas and certificates in front of their proud families and loved ones. Among the hundreds of graduates were dual-credit students from 18 local high schools, earning their college credentials before even finishing high school.

Race by race, the Scorpions are getting faster. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

From their season opener in August to this weekend’s UIW Invitational, the team continues to grow, improve, and build a strong foundation in their inaugural season.

⚽ Our Women’s Soccer team held strong with a 2–2 draw against Trinity Valley! 🦂 Goals from Vivian Vasquez and Alexis Olalde lit up the match and kept Scorpion pride shining. 🌟
📅 Up next: Scorpions take on Navarro College this Saturday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at Scorpion Soccer Field!

⚽ Our Women’s Soccer team fought hard yesterday, closing with a 2–2 draw against No. 8 Trinity Valley.

Vivian Vasquez and Alexis Olalde each scored from over 30 yards out! Vasquez struck off her instincts, while Olalde delivered on a free kick. We showed we belong on the NJCAA stage!... 🦂
