Texas Southmost College celebrated the kickoff of its Centennial Celebration with a vibrant Conjunto Festival on the TSC campus on January 17, 2026. The free, community-wide event featured the Battle by the Rio student duo competition and finals, followed by a full-day Conjunto Concert Series on the South Lawn.
Students, families, and community members came together to enjoy live music, local vendors, and performances headlined by Michael Salgado and special guest Sunny Sauceda, highlighting the rich cultural traditions of the Rio Grande Valley.
