Brownsville native Mario Zamora, who now resides in the Houston area started his successful professional career at Texas Southmost College, in fact, most of his siblings went through TSC during the 1970s. Now the Zamora family is paying it forward and giving the next generation of Scorpions an opportunity to complete their education with the Zamora Family Scholarship.

The Zamora Family $1,000 Scholarship is open to U.S. Citizens or Texas residents who are enrolled full-time at Texas Southmost College.
