2022 South Division Champions Texas Southmost College Scorpions participated in the NIRSA Championship Series: Region 4 Soccer Championships tournament this past weekend in San Marcos, Texas and came home with one win, a loss, and a tie. The competition was tough, and our Scorpions faced it head-on!
Texas Southmost College Scorpions’ first game was against Creighton University Blue Jays from Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday, October 29, 2022. TSC Scorpions shut out Creighton with a 2 – 0 victory. The Scorpions’ second game later that evening against the University of Texas was a loss with a final score of 3 to 1.
On Sunday, the Scorpions tied their final game against Lone Star College North Harris Hurricanes from Houston. The final score was Scorpions 2 – Hurricanes 2.
TSC Scorpions were runner-up in Region 4 Soccer Championships.
