The Office of Student Life will be hosting a special event in celebration of Juneteenth. Students are invited to learn more about the significance of the holiday while enjoying a refreshing ice cream treat to beat the summer heat.

Kick off the activity with a fun icebreaker question, such as “Beach or mountains?” using colored cups for students to cast their votes. Refreshments will be provided, including bottled water and flavored electrolyte drink packets to help everyone stay cool and hydrated.

These staff members will also provide maps and helpful information to support students during their transition into campus life.
