The Office of Student Life will host a welcome to its first Student Leadership Academy cohort of Spring 2023. Course content, expectations, and requirements will be explained. Students will develop and enhance their leadership & interpersonal skills by participating in a series of seminars and workshops. 

Resume Building Workshop

The Office of Career and Employment will be hosting a Resume Building Workshop Students will learn how to develop an effective resume, tailor their resume to meet specific job requirements, highlight their transferable skills, and make an excellent first impression. 

Employer Connection Visit-B.I.S.D.

South Hall

The Career and Employment Office will host an Employer Connection Visit. Students will have the opportunity to network with the employer and learn about the hiring process and requirements. This event is in collaboration with Brownsville Independent School District (B.I.S.D.).

The Office of Student Life will host a student organization fair. Students will have the opportunity to visit and learn more about various student organizations. Additional information will be provided for students who wish to start their own organization

Valentine’s Day

The Office of Student Life will collaborate with Campus Activities Board to host a special Valentine’s Day event filled with special treats.

The Career and Employment Office will host an Employer Connection Visit. Students will have the opportunity to network with the employer and learn about the hiring process and requirements. This event is in collaboration with U.S. Border Patrol.

Let’s Talk About It – Dating Violence Webinar

Charro Fest

The Office of Student Life will be hosting a Charro’s Day event entitled “TSC Charro Fest”. Student organizations will be promoting their organizations and selling various treats. Student Life will host various activities and competitions. The event is open to all students, staff and the community.   

Charro Day Parade: Illuminated Night Parade 

Elizabeth St.

TSC will participate in the Charro Days Inc. Illuminated Night parade. The TSC float will travel down Elizabeth St. and will be decorated in festive lights. The float will feature our TSC Board Trustees, our TSC President, the Student Government Association and the Campus Activities Board students.
