Texas Southmost College officially renamed its Legal Center to the Ruben Herrera, J.D. Legal Center on Aug. 22, 2025, in recognition of Herrera’s outstanding contributions to legal education and community service. The heartfelt ceremony inspired attendees by celebrating a legacy of leadership, integrity and commitment to empowering future generations.
