Texas Southmost College (TSC) named Melinda Rodriguez, CFRE, as the new Vice President of the recently created Division of Institutional Advancement and Workforce Training.
Formerly the President and CEO of the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce from 2015-16, Rodriguez started her new post at TSC on October 10.
Texas Southmost College (TSC) reached a milestone this fall by breaking the 5,000-student enrollment mark for the first time since TSC re-opened in fall 2013.
After a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the 9/11 tragedy, the sound of bag pipes filled the North and South Courtyard on Sept. 12, 2016 as the Brownsville Firefighters Pipes and Drums Honor Guard concluded Texas Southmost College’s Remembrance Day ceremony with their rendition of “Amazing Grace.”
Beaming with pride, 15 graduates of the Texas Southmost College Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) program recited the Vocational Nurse Pledge and received their pins during the LVN Pinning Ceremony on Aug. 13, 2016 at the TSC Arts Center.
