The Binational 10K Run will begin at 8 a.m. at the TSC Arts Center, located at 90 Taylor Ave., continue through historic downtown Brownsville, cross over the international bridge into Matamoros, Mexico, and conclude at the Presidencia Municipal (city hall), located at Calle Sexta between González and Morelos S/N, in Matamoros.
“TSC is very excited to support this historic 10K race,” TSC Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Workforce Training Melinda Rodriguez said. “Our continued support of Brownsville and Matamoros is a natural extension of the collaboration agreements TSC has with Brownsville and the Secretary of Education in Tamaulipas.”
Proceeds from the race will benefit the TeletonUSA Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises funds to build and support the Children’s Rehabilitation Institute of TeletonUSA that assists children with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injuries, genetic disorders and amputations.
