Student Services inaugurates Sting’em Hard Awards

Student Services recognized Intramural & Recreational Sports Specialist Tiffany Hernández, Testing Specialist Dulce Martínez and Financial Aid Specialist Marisol Gutiérrez.

“It felt really good,” said Martínez, when asked about receiving the award. “I’m very grateful that all our hard work at TSC is being acknowledged and, ultimately, it’s always a team effort.”

Student Services initiated the Sting‘em Hard Awards as an employee recognition program. The bi-monthly recognition will be awarded to three staff members in Admissions and Records,

Financial Aid, and Student Life in appreciation for displaying initiative, commitment to team spirit and a tendency for going the extra mile. The directors of each area select one staff member every two months to be recognized.

“We really want to show the employees that their work matters to us, but more than anything, that the work that they do contributes to the overall success of the institution,” said TSC Director of Student Life Vicenta Fernández. “They should be proud. This is an award that is well-deserving for them because of their efforts.”
