TSC Accreditation Process On Schedule

BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS – DECEMBER 11, 2014 –Texas Southmost College (TSC) has successfully completed a significant step in the accreditation process, as defined by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). At the December 2014 meeting of the accrediting agency, Dr. Lily F. Tercero, TSC President, received notification that TSC’s application for membership has been accepted and that a committee will be appointed to conduct an on-site visit in 2015. This decision is consistent with the College’s schedule to seek separate and independent accreditation.
