Memberships
Students
If you are a current registered student, then you are a current Recreation Center member. Current TSC and UTRGV students (Brownsville Campus) are eligible to participate in all Recreation Center programs and services. You must use your TSC or UTRGV ID to gain access to the TSC Recreation Center.
Faculty/Staff
Current TSC and UTRGV Faculty/Staff and their spouse are eligible to purchase a membership for the Recreation Center. You may not purchase a single membership for your spouse. You must use your TSC or UTRGV ID to gain access to the TSC Recreation Center.
Alumni
Alumni’s and their spouse are eligible to purchase a membership for the Recreation Center. Alumni must be able to provide documentation of graduation from TSC, UTB, or UTRGV. Alumni’s members can purchase a parking permit at our Cashier’s Office. A TSC Recreation Center ID will be issued to you when you purchase a membership. You must use the TSC Recreation Center ID to gain access to the TSC Recreation Center.
Student Employment

Join our team! Ever thought about officiating a flag football or soccer game? Teaching a group fitness class? Saving lives at our pool? Maybe you’d prefer to be working on our fitness floors. We also offer positions in our facility that assist every day in keeping the Recreation Center functioning at a high level.
The Recreation Center is looking for enthusiastic, hard-working student employees who enjoy interacting with our students, faculty, staff, and our alumni members in a positive way. Our members use the Recreation Center to have fun, stay fit, enjoy friendly competition, and relieve stress in a clean, healthy environment. Our student is an important component in helping us fulfill and achieve our Mission & Vision.
The Recreation Center is proud to be the largest employer of students on campus! We provide opportunities for students to develop new skills and become leaders in a fun work environment.
