Evolve: The Latinx Leadership Experience
The Office of Student Life at Texas Southmost College will host the inaugural conference titled Evolve: The Latinx Leadership Experience on April 22, 2022, from 9 AM-2 PM. The conference is a series of keynotes and interactive breakout sessions that aim to enhance the student experience while opening the dialogue about Latinx identities, cultures, and contemporary issues. The conference will be the beginning of a set of new initiatives that will increase the enrollment, retention, and graduation rates of Hispanic students at our institution.
The Evolve conference aims to facilitate opportunities for students to meet and learn from leaders within our community. This is an excellent opportunity for participants to develop and enhance their leadership skills and character.
The conference is FREE and open to high school and college students, teachers, counselors, and other educational professionals.
