Benavidez added a second goal to his tally in the second half.<\/p>\n<p>Ricardo Vidal scored before the end of the first half to give the Scorpions a 3-1 lead going into half time.<\/p>\n<p>Eduardo Rojas closed out the scoring when he notched TSC&rsquo;s seventh goal of the game to give the Scorpions a 7-1 lead.<\/p>\n<p>IWU&rsquo;s lone score came in the first half by Emmanuel Alvizo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/assets\/images\/news\/dsc_5155.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" alt=\"Soccer Player Kicking Ball\" style=\"border: 1px solid #000000; float: right;\">The TSC men&rsquo;s soccer club participates in the Texas Collegiate Soccer League (TCSL), an affiliate of the National Intramural and Recreation Sports Association (NIRSA). The club competes in the South Developmental Conference that includes the University of Incarnate Word, the University of Texas-San Antonio, the University of Houston and Prairie View A&amp;M University.<\/p>\n<p>All home games are played at Scorpion Field, located behind the TSC Recreation Center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Texas Southmost College<\/strong><br \/>Originally established in 1926, Texas Southmost College currently offers the first two years toward a bachelor&rsquo;s degree, along with career and technical education leading to certificates and associate degrees, college preparatory studies to prepare students for college-level work, workforce training, and continuing education.
