Private scholarships are offered by a wide variety of private agencies, organizations and individual donors. As private scholarships become available, we will post them under “Scholarship Opportunities” so it is important that you frequently visit this page.
In most cases, the donors send the checks directly to the College you are attending. Below is more information regarding scholarship checks.
Process for Scholarship Checks
If a donor sends the scholarship check to you directly and is made payable to you only, you must submit a copy to the TSC Financial Aid Office as soon as possible.
If the scholarship check is sent to you and co-payable you and TSC, you must:
- Endorse check
- Add your TSC ID number to the check, then
- Bring the check immediately to the TSC Financial Aid Office.
If the scholarship check is sent to you and made payable to TSC only, you must:
- Add your TSC ID number to the check, then
- Bring the check immediately to the TSC Financial Aid Office.
If donor is going to send check directly to TSC, it should be mailed to:

Enrollment Verification
Some scholarship donors verify enrollment at TSC before approving any funds. You may stop by the Admissions and Records Office to obtain a verification of enrollment.
