Cooperative Education (Co-Op) is a component of the Accounting Technology Program. Co-Op offers the student the opportunity to earn college credit for achievement of learning activities, which are accomplished through skills learned in the classroom and applied at the workplace. This class is taken the last semester of the program.
Co-op is a team effort involving the supervisor, the student, and the faculty.
Note: Some supervisors do background checks.
Liability Insurance
All students in the Accounting Technology Program are required to have professional liability insurance. The professional liability insurance is included in the fees paid by the student when he/she enrolls in the Co-Op course.
