Charles Garcia is an ESOL instructor for the Division of College Preparatory Studies. He has twenty-two years of experience teaching English as a Second Language. He has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in English as a Second Language from the University of Texas at Brownsville and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Spanish from Texas A&M University-College Station. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in educational technology at the University of Texas at Brownsville (soon to be the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley).
