Mexican Consulate in Brownsville awards grant for TSC students
The Mexican Consulate in Brownsville presented Texas Southmost College with a $10,000 check from the IME Becas program for TSC students on June 6, 2018. For the third consecutive year, the Mexican Consulate in Brownsville awarded Texas Southmost College (TSC) with a grant from the Institute for Mexicans Abroad (IME) that will benefit low-income TSC students that are Mexican nationals or of Mexican origin.

TSC breaks all-time enrollment record

The TSC Scorpions co-ed flag football team won the Valley Bowl championship title on Oct. 14, 2017 at Edinburg.The TSC Scorpions co-ed flag football team won the Valley Bowl championship title on Oct. 14, 2017 at Edinburg.

The Texas Southmost College Scorpions co-ed flag football team ran over the competition on Oct. 14, 2017 at the UTRGV-Edinburg Wellness & Recreation Sports Complex to claim the 2017 Valley Bowl championship title.

TSC to host film premiere, short film screenings on Oct. 21

The-Whole-TSC-Premiere-Poster-Rev3Texas Southmost College (TSC) will host the Brownsville premiere of the award-winning film "The Whole," as well as several short film screenings on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the TSC Arts Center, located at 90 Taylor Ave. in Brownsville. The movie premiere will begin at 8 p.m.

"The Whole" was written and directed by Rodrigo Moreno, and produced by Pink Ape Media, a Brownsville advertising agency. The movie was filmed on the TSC Campus in Brownsville, and around Cameron County.
